Jameis Winston celebrates birthday and BCS National Championship

Jameis Winston kisses the very last BCS Championship trophy.

Jameis Winston turned 22 today. Then he won the last ever BCS Championship. Winston's FSU Seminoles faced  a beastly Auburn team that was up 21-3 at one point. The War Eagles looked prime to steal the title although they were two touchdown underdogs.

It literally came down to the final minute to determine the winner of this BCS title.

I seriously thought the Noles had choked, but Noa kept telling me not to panic. I panicked anyway.

This game had everything from great defensive plays to bonehead offensive ones. There were stellar calls like a fake punt called by Jimbo Fisher with 4th and 4 to go. Auburn's defense was quick, agile, and confusing for FSU's O-line and QB.

FSU came back from half-time looking more like themselves. Winston who only passed for seventy some  odd yards in the first half, went for close to two hundred in the second.

This had to be the best Rose Bowl game in a looooooonnnnnnngggggg time.

Anyway, what did  you think of the game? How do you  feel about college football going to a  tourney?

Winston is a history maker.

Whitfield runs a sub 4.4 40...no wonder he was a blur on this 100
yd scoring punt return.

The winning touchdown to Benjamin.

Next year, four teams will compete for a title in a playoff system.
