Blog Tour from Mofochronicles to YBBG and beyond

I was asked by my fellow blogger/writer/online friend Meik of TheMofoChronicles to participate in a writer's process blog tour.

As the writer/blogger you answer four questions about your craft and introduce your readers to three new writers. So... here we go...


WHAT AM I WORKING ON: I just finished  the book that this blog is based on... YOUR BOYFRIEND'S BEST GIRLFRIEND: A Tomboy's Guide To Knowing, Loving And Understanding Men. So, I'm waiting on the proof copy, so that I can start marketing it and getting y'all to buy, buy, buy!!! This book was started waaaaaaaay before the blog even came into being. It has taken me forever...well...just because it's rather personal....in a way. It discusses all the life lessons I've learned...and share...about dating and relating to men as a chick who grew up playing with the boys.

HOW DOES MY WORK DIFFER FROM OTHERS OF ITS GENRE: I write about so many different things, that I don't know if I fit succinctly into a specific genre. I do talk about relationships...but I actually go directly to dudes to talk TO them instead of just talking about them... (By the way...if you know a guy willing to be interviewed...hit me up so we can set it up.)


WHY DO I WRITE WHAT I WRITE? It's unique in a sense. I tend to have a different perspective on a lot of topics...namely relationships. Having been raised around guys and "dating like a dude" for so long, I tend to relate to guys pretty well. So, I decided to share the guy's perspective with the world (or the few people who read this stuff lol). Lately my blogs have been random...so whatever hits me that day, I write about it.

 
HOW DOES YOUR WRITING PROCESS WORK: I used to send out questions of the day to a group of folks and then write about it. Now...I just write about whatever hits me at the time. I'm going to start back doing what I used to do...because honestly, I'm bored with writing about random stuff...and I need to focus LOL

1. Simone McDowell---aka my fit buddy.. Simone and I met at a blogging event and clicked off of our Capricorness...and we started working out together to get right and tight a couple of months ago.Simone is a marketing guru and a gift consultant who runs Honee Bee Gifts. 2.  Troy Spry -Troy and I linked over a blog he wrote a couple of years back. Then his PR group reached out to me to cover one of his XCC events. I didn't remember until I was there that he and I had linked before. He's a cool guy who gives relationship advice and has chats via social media at lunchtime.

3. B. Scott- So, I actually went to college with B. Scott...and I know B by the gubment name...but won't call it. B has run a successful blog for quite awhile that launched a media career. www.lovebscott.com/
