Oh...you thought it was only women who were glued to the HD at 4 a.m. EST watching the festivities, pomp and circumstance, horse and carriage and such across the pond?! Oh contraire!

Ladies! Some fellas were all into this Royal Wedding!  Nooooo...not the Anderson Cooper types...(love them!).  But the guys waiting and fantasizing about marrying their princesses!  Most wouldn't admit to it, if you called them out, but they felt butterflies rise inside...may have even become a little misty-eyed. 

Some guys dream about the day they will marry, as much as you do.  They don't tell their boys.  But they do tend to tell me! LOL

I think it is sweet. Don't you?

And with the Number 1 pick in the NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers select: Cameron Newton of the BCS Champion Auburn Tigers.

Yesterday I tweeted that the NFL Draft is like the Oscars mixed with the WWE!  You get these big hulking guys, booted and suited in their Sunday's best... and The commissioner comes up to the podium and begins to make selections.  There were emotional moments




The 2nd round of the draft continues today.  Tune into ESPN to see what Mel Kiper has to say about who to watch for in this round.  The first round saw 4 QBs go in first 12.  An NFL record 12 defensive players go in the first round.  10 SEC players go in the first round. Check out who they say were the winners and losers in the first round, here and here.

Oh...and Congratulations to Robert Quinn from my alma mater UNC, going #14 to the Rams!

Quinn is literally a survivor!  His stock dropped somewhat when teams passed on him due to a brain tumor he suffered as a high schooler.

He was caught up in a controversy with alleged NCAA violations, but came out in the clear.

Be proud young man.  Go into the league and give it your all!
