One day, I went on an ice cream research mission. I cannot remember why I was going on said mission, but upon my travels, I found out that July is National Ice Cream Month, as declared by former president Ronald Reagan in 1984.
I don't know about where you are, but it is scorching hot in North Carolina, so some good ice cream would be just what the meteorologist ordered!
Speaking of ice cream. Congratulations to the free pint of Front Porch ice cream winner: Chris D. of Chapel Hill, NC! I decided to wait to announce the winner since July 1 marks National Ice Cream Month.
Chris will be enjoying some Homestyle Butter Pecan, I'm sure.
I am really bad about checking my mail. I know, that may seem strange, but I check it twice a week usually. I had a lovely surprise in my mailbox this week!
