Blogging and CLEs

Today, I spent 6.75 hours in Continuing Legal Education classes.  Those hours were extremely valuable, not just for the sake of keeping my law license, but also for the sake of blogging.

Yep! That's right, for the sake of blogging. You would not believe how much law you need to know in order to blog.  No seriously.  From copyrights and trademarks, to defamation and the like.

I mean how many of you blog and "borrow" content?  Have you created a logo for your blog? Do you know who owns it?

What can you actually do when someone "borrows" your stuff? Mmmhmmm all those things are necessary when you decide to step into the social media spotlight.

I almost "borrowed" the picture for the CLE I attended today...but then thought better of it!
