NBA Style

Bill Walton had style back in the day! Who knew? Check him out with the denim shirt, tie and sweater combo.

Here is Lebron with a similar look as Bill Walton. Notice the smaller collar. I like Lebron's cardigan and Euro tie,
but he should have a better denim shirt.

Basketball is my favorite sport. I like the way they dribble up and down the court...

Name that tune and artist, you may win a prize!

If you have not figured it out by now, I love basketball. I played basketball. I watched basketball as a kid. Shoot, one summer, I even coached a basketball team.

I also love how clothes look on a basketball player. Think about it! They are tall, fit, and well tall! I remember a modeling coach told me that clothes are the showpiece and the body is just a mannequin. A basketball body is a perfect mannequin.

NBA.com has a style section that I heard about on NBATv. Byron Davis did a segment that was phenomenal, linking style of today to styles of yesteryear. Basketball players tend to be more trendsetters than other sports players. From sneakers to suits. They got it! Think about it, they are right in your face. You see them head to toe.

Football players are not as visible unless they are in commercials, where you can finally see what they look like without the helmets and padding. And well...baseball players usually have no style, and I haven't seen a soccer player with style since Posh Spice's husband.

Which NBA Superstar has the best style?

DO

Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook.
I prefer Durant's suit, but he needs an iron!

DO NOT

Matt Barnes in something interesting.
