Johnny Manziel trading cards
Leaf has created a Johnny Football trading card using the cut signature of Johnny Manziel. Basically they are profiting from his likeness. The cards are selling for upwards of $600.00 a piece.
This should be akin to the EA Sports lawsuit that Ed O'Bannon led on and won a couple months ago. It does not seem right or fair that another person can usurp your likeness and you cannot get paid. Of course if Manziel did receive payment, it would be an NCAA violation...
Who's to say the company isn't holding the profits to give to Manziel later?
