They want to cuddle too...and other things men wish you knew.
I know you just gave that title the side-eye. Imagine the look on my face when I heard it. LOL. I was at a local radio station, talking with one of the morning show personalities. When he said "Sometimes I just want to cuddle...be held." I said "say whuh?!" And started laughing.
But...I thought about it.. After all, he was serious. That got me to thinking...now if some guys feel that way, what else do they want us to know? So here are five things guys wish women knew:
1. They like to be romanced.
This guy I dated brought this up one time. He said it in a joking manner, but meant it. He said women always get the candy and flowers, and men are lucky to get dinner every once in a while. So buy him a little teddy bear with a spritz of your scent on it. Do something for him just because...and not just because you want something in return.
2. Silence is golden.
Sometimes they just want to be left alone. LOL. You don't have to talk about everything all the time. Somethings just aren't appropriate to talk to him about. Talk about your womanly things with other women. And "Just because you say you are not nagging, doesn't mean you're not nagging,"-K.M.
3. They wish you would at least try new things.
Ok...get your mind out of the gutter...I mean, yeah, that too, but...other stuff as well. I mean you don't HAVE to know what a nickel package is to at least watch a football game in silence. Why not try to learn some things about what he likes? I mean you drag him to the home decor section of every store and talk about swatches and accent pillows, you can't take a few minutes to bone up on the finer points of Madden '11?
4. It's not about the sex unless you allow it to be/make it that way.
Most men will tell you, women have the power in relationships. But we lose that power when we allow them to control the panties. Many men really would like to get to know you. They would like to sleep with you too, but it doesn't have to be sleep with first, get to know later. And if they sleep with you first, they probably won't make an effort to get to know you later. Either way, they want someone with more than goodies to offer.
5. They have feelings too.
Although they may not show it, you can hurt their feelings. They may not cry and walk around all melancholy (some do...and I have seen it! LOL), they do hurt. According to one guy the worst feeling is losing love and knowing it was his fault he lost it.
