Bojangles, bologna, and other bizarre food funnies

I know the economy is rough...but THIS???

By now, y'all know I'm a southern gurl.  I speak with a lovely deep voiced drawl..lol  I use words that seem a little like broken English.  And that's okay.  And yes, I have had a fried bologna and cheese sandwich more than a few times in my life.  (Cut on the sides, or with a slit in the middle so it doesn't bubble up...) But this right here?! Bojangles selling bologna and cheese biscuits?!  I ain't eva seen nothin like this before in my life!

I'm usually sleep deprived, so when I pulled into the drive through for a quick breakfast bite last week, I thought I was seeing things.  So I pulled out my blurry phone cam and took a picture of this sign.  When the lady at the call box actually ASKED ME IF I WANTED A BOLOGNA AND CHEESE BISCUIT...I felt equally confused, defensive and kinda disgusted at the same time?  I don't know why... But it just wasn't right.  And why would you think I ...me personally... would want a Bologna sandwich? What are you trying to say?  (Oh wait...she couldn't see me at the call box...but still... I was offended!!!). 

Anyway...in other food news. I go to lunch with my pal at work at least once a day each week.  We typically frequent a spot called Merts.  Today, we go there, I get a veggie plate.  Since I wasn't too hungry, I brought the leftovers back.  I placed my aluminum container with half eaten veggies into the communal fridge.  I figured I would eat the rest for dinner.  That is until I realized that before I could do so...SOMEONE BEAT ME TO IT!!

Yep...some crazy...strange...deranged person in my office ate my lunch.  Lunch I had nibbled on.  Lunch that I had my mouth set on for dinner.  How does someone eat another person's LEFTOVERS?  It wasn't even like a half sandwich where the other half is unmolested.  It was veggies...that had my fork all up and through them..

You have to be crazy to eat someone else's leftovers...I mean really... Just crazy.  But the strange thing is, it isn't the first time this has happened.  Another coworker had her lunch pilfered a little while ago... SMH
