RM 011 Spa Classic watch released for motor sports event in Belgium

I've heard a number of women say they notice men's watches when they meet. I don't know what a timepiece can tell you about a man beyond his never being late if he has one. However, when I saw this, I instantly fell in love.

Above is a limited edition watch from Richard Mille that was created to honor the third Spa Classic in Belgium, May 24-26th. Mille's watches are so hot that a Jamaican runner Yohan Blake wore one in the 2012 Olympics, and Rafael Nadal had one stolen from him at the French Open last year.

Richard Mille will mark the occasion by releasing an RM 011 Spa Classic, a limited edition of 50 pieces.The automatic caliber is equipped with a flyback chronograph with countdown timer, an annual calendar and a rotor with variable geometry.

The colours of the event are featured on the blue carbon fiber upper flange and the red and white lower flange. The Spa Classic logo at 12 o’clock together with the red and white chronograph dials contrast with the skeleton movement in PVD-treated grade 5 titanium. For this special edition, the entire case  has been microblasted, the case-middle columns polished, and the pusher covers treated with DLC.
