Taj Jordan, Michael Jordan's 'son'

Pam Smith and her son "Taj" are claiming that Michael Jeffery Jordan IS THE FATHER. Ms. Smith is a former JET Beauty of the week, NFL Cheerleader, and ring girl according to her website where she says she's a certified "loveologist". Check out Taj's video:

"In response to Smith's lawsuit, Jordan's lawyer attached a 2003 divorce court filing between Smith and her then-husband Glenville G. Reynolds. The document said the marriage produced one child and listed the boy's birth date and name. At the end of the document, there is a statement signed by Smith saying everything is "true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.""

Everybody knows Michael Jordan has had a squeaky clean All-American guy image forever and a day. That image was well crafted and paid off with mega millions in endorsements and branding.

He was cool, likable, and even had a cartoon and movie! No one really knew the private MJ, and that was great for him and little kids who wanted to be like Mike. You remember the song:

That marketing plan produced generations of consumers. Consumers who, I am sure included this kid claiming to be his son. I don't know if MJ is the dad, but he was clearly married to Juanita at the time of this child's conception. And I know of other women who claim they had affairs with MJ.

But does that matter? Is an outside child enough to change your perception of a man who has been marketed as the greatest person to ever touch a basketball? Finding that Mike has some chinks in his armor is like finding out Santa isn't real, or worse that your uncle lied about trying out for the NBA after you bragged about it to everybody. LOL

I was never a kid who loved MJ. I liked him, thought he was cool, but was a Kareem fan growing up. I actually preferred not knowing a whole lot about their private lives because they were ball players. The mystery made them great! Who wants to know his/her hero is some brown liquor drankin', cigar smoking, gambling cheater? No one!

So I know most people who grew up loving Mike could care less about alleged outside children. But how does this Taj kid feel? If MJ is his dad, I know it hurts to not have a father around.

However, that is one of the consequences of being messy as adults. Pam Smith is basically saying she had had unprotected relations with a married man. Sometimes your mess drops on your children. I never got why they called children born of affairs the "love child". Usually love is the last thing involved.
