Your boyfriend's best girlfriend knows everything about him

She's his best friend, and he tells her everything.
Being a guy's best girlfriend comes with some advantages. For example, if you have a flat tire, there is always someone to call. When you need a male opinion on something, he's the best person to go to. Oh...and the honesty.

The best thing about being a guy's best girlfriend is the honesty. Guys tell their female friends things they don't tell a soul else including their homeboys and, oftentimes, their girlfriends. So, your boyfriend's best girlfriend may know everything about him that you don't.

Are there some things a man will reveal to a woman he's only friends with that he won't tell a woman he's romantically involved with?


  •  Heck yeah. You may tell a female friend about other women you may have been intimate with; no way in the world would you share that info with your significant other. Lol.
  •  Sh** yea, just like Eli said. Friends tend to accept you while mates tend to evaluate you. 
    One of the reasons I've come to embrace the Friend Zone is because most women I know treat their friends that are boys better than they treat their boyfriends    . If he's dating/boning her, she expects him to give more while she gives less. She's more giving of herself with the friend which is why "Oh, you say he's just a friend" is pretty dangerous.

So what are some things a man will share with his best girlfriend that he may not with his woman?


  1. His fears. Guys tend to tell their female best friends every fear they have ever had from the time they could walk and talk. Even silly fears like dust bunnies and clowns. 
  2. Why he won't commit. If a guy were to reveal to a woman he's seeing why he really won't commit, it would shift the power. So he tells his best girlfriend and she holds the secret close.
  3. His secrets. She has proven herself trustworthy. So he doesn't fear the secrets will be used against him in an argument. And she's compassionate about any that make him look foolish.
  4. Whether or not he's faithful. Often this is done in a "confessional" manner. So best female friend also plays the role of spiritual counselor. 
  5. The emotions he's feeling. If he's in love, his best female friend may find out before the woman he's in love with. When he's sad, she knows. 
  6. Jokes. He doesn't have to be serious with her all the time. Nor is he trying to impress her. So he cracks the best jokes with her, and she cracks back.
  7. His failures. She won't judge him, so it is easier to share his shortcomings with her. 
  8. His friends. She's cool, and they are probably into some of the same things. So hanging out with his boys is easy. She's not trying to impress them, and the aren't trying to grill her. 
  9. His family. If they are best friends, they are pretty much family. So meeting family is a given. 
  10. His heart. There are things a man hides with his heart, that his ego and need for self-preservation do not allow him to reveal to just anyone. His hurts, joys, and love are often held deeply within.
