25 items in the 20 items or less line...

So I went to Wal-mart today to only pick up a couple of necessities. But it IS Wal-mart, so of course I picked up more than I went in there for...

Well I NEEDED conditioner... So I went to my staple, Burts Bees.  Then I saw a woman with natural hair standing in the regular hair care aisle...and wondered what she was looking at over there.  Don't you always get distracted at Wal-mart?! I swear it is like being hypnotized or something...

So I sashay over to peep the "ethnic" line to see if they had anything I could actually use on non-permed hair. LOL. I ended up picking up two more bottles of conditioner and some oil.   So 3 items I did not go in there to get.

Then I NEEDED some salsa to make burritos with the chicken I roasted on Sunday. On my way over there, I remembered that I had a coupon for some Keebler mint in the middle cookies, that they were out of at Harris Teeter.  So I ran by the cookie aisle.  On my way they had a display of this popcorn that I loved. It was 2.50 for a huge bag.  I love kettle corn.  But they also had the white cheddar I like.  So I ended up picking up one of each... WAaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiittttttt I didn't come in here for this... SMH...

Then I go on over to the Keebler cookies...And notice some strawberry Oreos... Ummm.. I'on know how I feel about that... But you know I'm having crazy cravings right now (No I'm not preggers...it just happens once a month...)...So I get the regular Oreos that I hadn't had in forever...(I'll probably end up tossing them out...)

By the time I headed to the front to check out, I had several unnecessary items in my cart. I started to turn around and put some of them back, but I was so close to getting out.  And I was hungry.  I went to Wal-mart directly after leaving work.

As I stand emptying my cart onto the cashier's counter, I glimpse at the guy behind me, holding one singular item.  I quickly turn my head, and count the number of items I had doled out...eeek.. 25 items... I was too embarrassed to turn around to tell the guy he could go ahead of me.  Shoot it was too late anyway, the cashier was already ringing me up.

There I stood... THAT PERSON...in the express lane... 25 items in the 20 items or less line.  Sorry guy behind me... I gotcha next time!
