2012 ACC Tourney starts tomorrow

March Madness has officially kicked off.  Some conferences have already started their conference tournaments.  The ACC, conference for my alma mater UNC, kicks off their tourney tomorrow at noon!

There is something special about this time of year.  Growing up in North Carolina, the tourney was as much a part of our upbringing as barbecue and Sunday school. 

Who do you think will win the ACC tourney this year?  My Tar Heels clinched the regular season title against our nemesis the Dook Blue Devils (just plain evil!! LOL) this passed week.  It was a pummeling, with Dook never having the lead.  

When the Heels met the Devils in Chapel Hill, they blue a double digit lead, to only see the game go away on a last second shot by one of the dookies... (yes it hurt...)

This time around, it was Dook's senior night in Cameron.  The Tar Heels got out fast and kept their foot on the gas, culminating in a 88-70 trouncing of the Devils.  The beating was so ferocious that the Plumlees dad shed tears. :)
