George Zimmerman killed an unarmed teen.

All over the internet and news is a #KONY2012 campaign regarding the activities of Lord's Resistance Army leader, Joseph Kony in Uganda.  Yet, children are dying in the streets of the US, with mere whispers.

There is a Twitter campaign with hashtag #StopZimmerman, speaking to the murder of Trayvon Martin, at the hands of George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida.

Police Chief, Bill Lee, of the Sanford Police Department responds to any email sent to him with the following response:

I appreciate your concern and comments. I also understand how someone would make assumptions and conclusions regarding how this investigation should progress based on the limited information presented in news stories.  However, there is much information that at this time is not public record to ensure the integrity of the investigation.

Let me assure you the Sanford Police Department, in consultation with the Office of the State Attorney, is working to complete a thorough and fair investigation as quickly as possible.

I pray that the family of Trayvon Martin has strength during their time of mourning and that God sees fit that the truth comes to light. In the end, justice will prevail.
