UNC Tunic from Meesh and Mia

I told you guys about Meesh and Mia a little while ago, as they prepared for their Belle of the Bowl Sweepstakes and had a Twitter Party, hosted by my colleague at BlitzAndGlam.

Well as promised, I'm going to tell you about a piece from their UNC line that they gifted me, right in time for my birthday!!! Nothing is better than getting gifts...and getting them early! :) (My bday is on the 14th)




Well, I received a package today and was excited to see what the ladies over at Meesh and Mia had sent me.  When I opened it up the first thing I saw was my alma mater's logo! There is nothing like the beautiful NC LOGO!




Then when I pulled the tunic out of the package, I noticed the heaviness of the fabric.  Which I loved! It is three quarter length and can be worn in the fall and winter because it is just thick enough and versatile enough to be layered with a nice shirt or sweater underneath. I also have this thing about zippers.  The zipper on this tunic, that reaches to around mid thigh, is strong and sturdy.

What I really like about this UNC Tunic, from Meesh and Mia, is the shape! And I'm not just saying this.  I have this shapeless hoodie that I have loved for years.  I've worn it so much that the sleeves are all worn at the ends.

This piece is going to replace my beloved hoodie for going to most games when I make it back to Chapel Hill. (Okay...so I'm not going to throw out the hoodie... but...it definitely goes to the back of the selections!)

I am not saying this because it was a gift, but I really love the piece. It is sporty and girly at the same time.  And the quality of the fabric is good.

Y'all know me...If I didn't like it, I would definitely tell you.   This is a good quality piece.  I will definitely stay linked to their site for more items that I posted about before.  I need to add to my UNC apparel, and this is definitely a place I will look to for more of it.
