Honey, where is your slip?!

So I accidentally flashed the WHOLE CHURCH a couple of Sundays ago. I went to my parents' church that Sunday. I had no idea the pink dress I had on was thin enough to see through. Much to my chagrin, it was.

They make all types of slips.
True enough, confession is good for the soul, but sharing Victoria's secrets with the congregation is not the right way to go.

And there I was, with Vicky all on display.  How embarrassing! My mama, said "Did you know you can see through your dress?" No mama, I didn't...I replied with shame.
I was shocked and dismayed. So much so, that I turned my back toward the wall each time we had to stand up.

As a little girl, I always wore a slip. Shoot, as a college student I always wore a slip. I just felt so restricted by them, they irritated me.  So I

tossed them to the side.  Besides all of the clothes I wore didn't necessitate one.

However, a slip (or three) is something every woman should have.  They really are a necessity.  I know not everyone wears one, that is readily apparent.

But do you think slips are a necessity? Do you know women who still wear them?
