Money Mayweather is heading to prison...but before he goes, he had a fight to win. Mayweather won the first few rounds easily, but Cotto came back strong. Cotto landed crushing blows that blooded Mayweather's nose.
Clearly, Mayweather was a little slow on his feat, but the punches from Cotto after round 8 or 9, didn't have much affect on Floyd, as he bobbed and weaved taking the sting off.
Mayweather won a unanimous decision 117-111, 117-111, 118-110
Floyd heads to prison for a bid, but will be out in the fall. Larry Merchant asked him if he'll have a fight lined up. He said he hopes to fight Pacquiao finally. Ummm...we'll see.
