Dirty draws

Underwear containing explosive material.

The US thwarted a terrorist attack out of Yemen today.  The government claims that a plane headed for the US, had a potential passenger carrying a bomb in his underwear.  Word is that the Yemen native was trained by Al-Qaeda. (Read the story here.)

I just want to know, who the heck thinks this stuff up? Like really. Do you wake up in the morning and say, well...I'm going to put a bomb in my tighty whities?

What leads a person to the point that he/she would risk his/her own life to kill someone else? (Well...shoot...what am I really asking? It happens in every country every day. They just call it military recruitment...so it depends on how you look at it...)
