Did you tune into the State of the Union address? President Obama spoke about trade agreements with the European Union, gun control, voting rights, cooperation in the Middle East, and stopping nuclear proliferation in countries like Iran. 

Special guests at the SOTU were the parents of Hadiya Pendleton, who was gunned down in Chicago just a short time after performing at the inauguration. Also a 102 year old woman who waited eight hours to vote was present. A man, who risked his life as an officer to save people in a Sikh temple who were gunned down, sat quietly at the SOTU having recovered from being shot twelve times.

Marco Rubio was tapped by the GOP to give the Republican response. Initially I thought he out performed Bobby Jindal's attempt. But then there was the awkward sip of water that everyone is now talking about all over social media.
