R.I.P. Yvette "Andell" Wilson of The Parkers and Moesha

I want to call her Andell, because that is who she is best known for playing. She was Ms. Parker's best friend on The Parkers, and ran Andell's where she served watered down drinks. Before The Parkers, she ran the Den on Moesha, where the kids would go after school for poetry, food, and just to hang out.

Yvette Wilson was battling cervical cancer and kidney disease.  Apparently it was a long battle, and she lost her life yesterday.  Yvette always rocked a dope short cut natural, and appeared in my favorite movie, Friday, as Debbie's friend who "looked like Janet Jackson".

I learned of her death through a message from Terrance J on Facebook. May God be with her family and may her soul be at rest.
