Larry Fedora, new coach at UNC?

Allegedly there is an announcement on the horizon that UNC will name former Southern Mississippi coach, Larry Fedora as the new head coach of the football team.

Earlier in the season famed coach Butch Davis was ousted amid a whole lot of mess that included NCAA violations and some foolishness by Marvin Austin who didn't know how to use social media wisely, last year! (Yes I'm still pissed about this fool...he cost the team a tremendous season last year...hey say what you will...I stand by what I'm writing.)

I don't know Larry Fedora...but dang could y'all have waited for Coach Withers to coach the Independence Bowl game before you drop kicked him out? :(

I love my school, but sometimes the powers that be get on my nerves...

Then again...this is just a rumor...we'll see.

IT'S OFFICIAL: FEDORA ANNOUNCED AS NEW HEAD COACH FROM www.dailytarheel.com:

North Carolina officially announced Larry Fedora as the new head football coach on Thursday afternoon.

Fedora had previously coached at Southern Mississippi, where he went 11-2 this season after winning the Conference USA Championship game.

UNC interim coach Everett Withers, who interviewed last week for the permanent job, will coach the Tar Heels on Dec. 26 at the Independence Bowl.
