Sweaty dates

Are you cool with sweating on a date?

If you want to maintain health and fitness, it has to literally be a part of your lifestyle.  Most people fall off when getting gym memberships...especially if nothing you do in your daily life has anything to do with being active.

And if you're tired of the dinner and a movie dates where you get to know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the person you're with, getting active may be the very thing you need.

Here's a little secret: Guys love sweaty dates.  Well most of them anyway.  The ones who aren't a doughnut away from a heart attack.

So are you open to sweaty dates?  I mean the kind that may have you panting and needing a water break that is rated PG!  If you're afraid of your makeup running or your hair sweating out...DON'T BE!  There is no better opportunity to break the ice than a sweaty fun date! And the dude really would like to see you active anyway.

THE BEST SWEATY DATE IDEAS

1. Volunteering

You can run a 5k for a cause together.  Build a Habitat for Humanity house together.  Coach a youth organization or anything that gets you out and about and up doing something.  Plus it gives you an opportunity to give back.  (This is one of my great date ideas in 100 Common Sense Dating Tips the black and white version.)

2.  Mutual combat

Mr. L. Wentz thought of this idea, and I like it! Some places offer boxing classes or MMA lessons.  (As seen on Basketball Wives LA).  Laser tag and paintball are also mutual combat activities that are fun and can be done in a group.

3. Sports

Racing (Track and Field style), basketball, flag football, tennis, racquetball, volleyball, softball...you name it! It is fun and you can get some trash talking in!

4.  Walk it out

Nature trails can be navigated in all seasons.  You can also take a hike or sashay through a park.  There are bound to be some hilly plains no matter where you are.  Suit up for it and get your butts in gear.  It will give you a great opportunity to chatter away.

5. Train

Dance classes, fitness classes, etc.  Train to run a marathon or to build your strength and endurance.  Or you could take dance classes like salsa and such together. You can find a lot of dance classes in most areas that offer basic classical dances to modern jazz or hip hop.
