2012 Love and Relationship Resolutions
So the New Year is fast approaching... Usually people make resolutions about personal finances, goals for success, fitness and the like. I hardly ever see any about dating, love, and relationships.
I had to contemplate the resolutions I wanted to make period. And I really didn't have any for 2012. Then I thought about relationships... So I decided that my resolution would be to stop running away from having an enduring one.
It may not seem like much, but it is for me. I also decided that I would accentuate my positives and stop hiding them. The two go hand in hand. I guess you'll learn more about that as you continue reading :). I want to thank you all for reading this blog and being so supportive this past year, by the way :)
Anywho... I asked some folks about their resolutions... Here are some responses.
What are your 2012 LOVE and Relationship Resolutions?
- AD: Continue loving myself and learning from each relationship.
- SK: Love myself first.. Everything else will follow
- تنتظر بصبر: For the year 2012 I plan on loving my children and myself! There is room for more in my [family] equation once I find him. I plan on listening to God rather than my heart when it comes to my relationships (my heart is what got me in the angry place that I'm in now). I plan on creating a new ME... I will be getting my last few words of hate towards MEN out of my system today. And after I get of work tonight I'm going to take those last 2 hours of this year to pray, ask for forgiveness, and forgive those that hurt me (including myself)!
- CJ: Honestly, I'm gonna put myself out there more n enjoy my happy. That's how the last one came. :)
- DP: Well after my singles cruise for the b-day I actually want to actively try to add a special friend to my situation. I've been single for about a year and although it was and is a blast I really feel likee iam beginning to enjoy this single sh** a lil too much.
- DH: Quit trippin and buy the d*mn ring. Lol.
- CA: Just to be better; Lord knows there's always room for improvement. There are countless things that I need to work on.
- SS: Aww all of this is great! DH you realize we're part of your online family now so we'd like to know what she says when the time comes :-)
- DH: "About d*mn time!!!" - LOL
- SS: LOL still sounds like an acceptable answer!
- AL: To give my husband more KANG treatment. :)
- DH: She's actually giving me the business about it right now.
- ER: That's how I feel DP . As for me just continue to work on me, get out a little more. It's hard for me to consider a relationship right now even though I want one just because I don't know where I'll be, citywise, at the end of 2012. Scared to fall for anyone and then have to up and leave.
- DB: To quit living this playa like lifestyle since i've gotten out of my last relationship....I think imma go ahead and find me that one lady to treat right!
- JB: I plan to continue to invest wholeheartedly into my new relationship with CGA... Hope to grow and get to know each other even better... develop strong ties that last for a very long time.
